The column may be installed by removing the tripod’s base plate, inserting the center column, and locking the column in place. The primary feature of the GS5513XLS is its telescoping design which utilizes four G-Lock Ultra equipped sections to extend from a minimum height of 26.4″ to a maximum height of 81.9″. The column’s base may also be adjusted vertically via a disc-lock equipped collar which may be secured anywhere within its 16.1″ range of travel.
